Grapes were destemmed and cold soaked for 4 days prior to native fermentation. The wine was aged in 40% new French and American oak for 36 months prior to bottling.

Complex flavors of blackberry, plum and boysenberry, give way to a rich core of dark chocolate, graphite, violet, vanilla, and leather. The wine finishes with big, tight long-lasting tannins.
