2019 Hapa Red
Hapa is back for the awesome vintage of 2019 and more complex than ever with a total of eight varietals. Hapa was based on my love of wines from the region of Priorat in Spain and their blending of Rhone and Bordeaux varietals creating complex wines with amazing depth and character. Grapes from Tierra Alta, Stag Canyon, Estelle, and Evans Vineyards were used to create this amazingly complex blend.
Tasting notes:
Dark aromas of currant, blackberry, and boysenberry, along with scents of sandalwood, vanilla, graphite, chocolate, and leather. Rich upfront flavors of blackberry, currant, and grenadine lead to a lush core filled with chocolate, leather, coffee, molasses and bakers spice, finishing with complex chewy tannins. Age for 3 to 12 years.
