The 2019 vintage was by far my favorite of the decade and this amazing Merlot is a perfect example of this great year. Sourced from the alluvial hillsides of Estelle Vineyard located in the eastern portion of the Santa Ynez Valley which is perfectly suited for growing world class Bordeaux varietals. Aged or 3 years in neutral French Oak and 25% New AP John Appellation oak this wine is seamless. Think of George Clooney in a bottle, handsome and debonair.

TASTING NOTES

Rich aromas of blackberry, plum, and boysenberry, along with aromas of vanilla, milk chocolate, molasses, allspice, white pepper, and clove. Big flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, and olallieberry lead to a rich core filled with, dark chocolate, leather, black pepper, croissant, and blueberry, finishing with taught ripe tannins that elongate to a smooth finish.
