In memory and with inspiration, this luxuouis red blend is named after our winemaker's favorite grape grower, John William Belfy. John is responsible for planting and growing majority of the fruit that our winemaker sources. This blend composed of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Syrah. Giving an elegant jammy notes with a smooth finish on the palate.
Big fruit flavors of plum, boysenberry and raspberry lead to flavors of dark chocolate, leather, herb de Provence and black pepper, finishing with taught juicy tannins.
Aromas of orange blossom, pink grapefruit, and flavors of meyer lemon, and starfruit give way to a core of lemon curd, and mineral, finishing long and crisp.
Complex flavors of raspberry, pomegrante, cherry and cranberry that lead to a spicy core of dusty cocoa, licorice root, herbs de Provence and white pepper. The finish is long and complex with tannins.
