2024 Chenin Blanc

We are very excited to release our first ever Chenin Blanc.  This is a grape I have always wanted to make as I love drinking its versions from the Loire Valley in France. Good things come to those who wait as it goes. The grapes are from the top section at Tierra Alta Vineyard at 1400 feet in elevation with steep limestone laden hillsides. The grapes came in with perfect ripeness and well-balanced acidity. The wine was fermented cold in stainless steel to capture all the vibrancy of the grape and vineyard. ~ Mikael Sigouin, Winemaker

Tasting Notes:

Bright aromas of white Peach, nectarine and Meyer lemon along scents of lychee, minerality and a hint of sandalwood.

Juicy flavors of white peach, lychee, and pineapple, give way a core filled with lemon pie, Roy's signature martini, refreshing minerality and sweet herbs. The long, bright finish is highlighted by Tierra Alta's signature minerality.
