In memory and with inspiration, this luxuouis red blend is named after our winemaker's favorite grape grower, John William Belfy. John is responsible for planting and growing majority of the fruit that our winemaker sources. This blend composed of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Syrah. Giving an elegant jammy notes with a smooth finish on the palate.
Vibrant with raspberry, pomegranate, and cherry aromas, complemented by sandalwood, spice, and herbal notes. Rich flavors of ripe berries lead to a core of leather, red licorice, tobacco, and minerals, ending with a plush, tannin-rich finish.
This is not a small wine by any means and should be shared with friends over some good BBQ. Deep aromas of plum and flavors of dried currant and dark chocolate.
